As one of the biggest banks in Central Europe, BZ WBK uses hundreds of systems many of which were developed years ago when virtualization wasn’t a commodity like it is today. In quest for more flexibility and efficiency Bank explored various options in order to improve and modernize delivery and deployment pipeline and finally chose OpenShift. We would like to share our story how it affected applications and infrastructure and why it’s been chosen as a solution, how it meets expectations of organization with high security and compliance/regulatory standards. The aim of this session is to present real technical level examples on how to build CI/CD pipelines, release secure containers – isolate them accordingly and what other tools you may need to successfully deploy them on production. It’s all based on our experience and mistakes we’ve made to build working solution.
